Full time Administrative Assistant needed for a home based legal type business. It is not required to have legal experience but would be helpful in the execution of daily tasks.
- Perform general administrative duties including typing letters, filing, answering phones, and executing correspondence.
- Must be diligent in keeping the calendar for the office and scheduling appointments
- Organize paperwork for meetings
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office ok) – but WordPerfect is a plus
- This position would be benefited by the knowledge of Quickbooks and Timeslips, which are utilized in the office.
- Accurate typing (50-60 wpm)
- Strong clerical skills required
- Willing to work full time schedule
- Most noteworthy would be that this is an animal friendly, there is a large dog on premises. Candidate cannot be allergic to dogs.
- Also, candidate must be a “non-smoker”
- In addition, knowing the difference between a conservatorship and a trust and some Legal background a plus
- Probate experience is helpful
- Excellent grammar, spelling and letter composition skills are a must. There will be testing for these skillsets administered.
- Must have a strong attention to detail and have the ability to proof own work.
- In addition, a strong work ethic is highly desireble
- The ability to work independently
- Identify tasks on a daily basis
This is a temporary position located in the North San Fernando Valley area. Pay $16 to $22 per hour.
