Client Interface Representative

Client Interface Representative has inside sales experience selling to both large and small corporations and also has sales experience in the public accounting industry.

Job Description (including but not limited to the following):

  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Interacting with Controllers, VP Finance and CFO’s of companies, large and medium in size
  • Build a network of prospects and clients with a custom follow up plan for each (i.e. some clients may be heavy users and require more frequent contact.)
  • Recognizing qualified leads and communicating effectively to learn if a prospect is qualified
  • Identify qualified leads through creative sourcing and cold calls, internet search and referrals
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Representing the company as needed at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
  • Advising on forthcoming consultant availability and discussing special any promotions;
  • Liaising with active clients to check the progress of existing orders; Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations

Skills and Requirements:

  • College degree (strongly preferred) in Business Administration or related
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience proving the following:
    • Proven track record of selling by phone through cold & warm calls
    • Proven track record of scheduling appointments by phone from cold calls
    • Proactive with strong follow through
  • Formal Sales training a plus, Friendly, personable, assertive with professional phone manner
  • Must have presentation skills, prospecting skills, meeting sales goals, client management, independent, be self-motivated
  • Organized with common sense and quick thinking
  • Proficient with sales databases and Microsoft Office
  • Required experience: Sales: 1 year and Account Management: 1 year

This is a temp to hire position located in the West San Fernando Valley area paying $18 to 20 hourly.
