Sales Support Specialist

The Sales Support Specialist must have strong customer service, sales, follow up and follow through skills with their client.  This position will start out as sales support but will turn into a sales person.  They will be on the phone selling!!  It is a position with room for growth and the opportunity to create and implement new processes in order to streamline the communication of said information.

Job Description (including but not limited to the following):

  • This position provides support to the sales team by making sure the information flows quickly and accurately to them and to our customers
  • Communicate order shipping details, delays, and general information as needed to the customer
  • To track and organize information pertinent to our sales team in order to keep them accurately informed
  • Place orders in collusion with our sales reps and our customers. Identify and track sales numbers of specific products
  • The ideal candidate would have worked for Verizon Wireless, AT & T or Sprint.
  • Candidate will be fielding calls from various clients and wireless sales reps
  • Support Sales Department in customer service and administrative needs
  • Keeping product stock reports up to date
  • Maintain and create spreadsheets in order to increase accessibility of said sales information
  • Identify and propose solutions for any future issues in regards to any area of your responsibilities as Sales Admin
  • Maintaining client files and order history
  • Assisting other departments as needs

Requirements and Skills:

  • MUST have strong customer service, follow up and follow through skills
  • Previous Wireless experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) are required
  • Some experience working with an online business would be helpful but not required
  • Willing and able to take direction, open to learning in order to better serve the position
  • Good phone skills and etiquette needed
  • Attention to detail and proper follow through a must
  • Needs to be comfortable in sales
  • Professional and eager to work
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred but not required
