HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER On Site
Our client is a specialty pharmacy focused on excellence in patient care — and they are seeking a Human Resources Manager On Site to lead and strengthen their people operations. This is a full time hands-on leadership role responsible for shaping Human Resources strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting a culture of growth, accountability, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all core Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HRIS administration
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on discipline, documentation, and performance improvement
- Ensure compliance with federal, state (California), and local employment laws
- Develop and manage HR programs and initiatives that align with business goals
- Partner with leadership to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development
- Administer and track compliance trainings, annual renewals, and policy updates
- Maintain accurate personnel records and manage document workflows in UKG Ready (or similar HRIS)
Skills and Requirements
- 5 plus years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR management role
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading an HR team
- Strong working knowledge of California employment law
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated environments strongly preferred
- Proficient in HRIS platforms (UKG Ready experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication, coaching, and documentation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and urgency
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (HR certification a plus)
