Experienced Accounts Payable Clerk

In this role, the candidate will report directly to the Controller and will be responsible for accounting related work. This position requires a highly organized and focused individual with excellent communication skills. What will I be doing?
- Monthly account analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Weekly reconciliation of credit card charges and posting.
- Maintain monthly accounting files, as assigned in Excel.
- Data entry in Epicor accounting software system.
- Backup for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll, as needed.
What skills and requirements do I need?
- 4-year College degree in accounting or business or equivalent work experience
- Insurance accounting experience, a plus!
- Avalara Sales Tax System Experience, a plus!
- Must have full working knowledge of Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP Accounting systems, (Epicor) preferred. ANY ACCOUNTING SYSTEM ABOVE QB LEVEL SYSTEM IS GOOD.
- Strong QuickBooks knowledge is required.
- Excellent data entry and customer service skill are required
- Must be confident navigating bank and payment processing websites.
- Detail oriented and proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Proven ability to work directly with other departments.
- Have work experience with entrepreneurial company preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
