Tax Admin Receptionist

An Accounting firm is seeking a Tax Admin Receptionist to help in their front office.  Someone eager that can follow directions and assist the staff.  This is an on-site part time position with a possibility of additional hours during tax season.  The right candidate will have a strong attention to detail and have a strong independent work ethic.

Job Description (including but limited to the following):

  • The candidate will assist with front office duties such as answering phones, greeting clients, announcing appointment arrivals
  • Scanning documents as needed
  • Accurate data entry as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of transactions in multiple databases and files
  • There will be other administrative duties as required.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks software is a plus.
  • Results oriented individual with strong customer service skills and a courteous telephone manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Preferred 2+ years of office experience.
  • Some tax accounting experience is helpful
  • Good P/C skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, maybe some Outlook) and accurate 10 key, typing and data entry skills
  • Good understanding of standard office procedures and practices.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Able to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Ability to be an effective team member and handle assignments responsibly.
  • May be required to be available for additional hours during tax season

This temporary assignment is available now and located in the San Fernando Valley area.  There may be a possibility of the assignment being extended or possible Temp to Hire.  The pay range is between $19-20 hourly.
